Long Island Marketing & Looking At Current Consoles

By Rob Sutter

It seems as though Sony and Microsoft have been the talk of the gaming town, which isn't hard to see why. Now that we are deep into this next console generation, both the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One can stake claim to the fact that they have moved over one million units each. It's a great point to consider but what about the audience that is, perhaps, more casual by comparison? These late adopters may be helped thanks to the efforts that are linked to Long Island marketing.

As stated before, the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One have sold exceptionally well, especially when considering the fact that they have not been out for that long. It's a matter of investment for many gamers, as they believe that the software to come is going to be worth it. However, one has to wonder what these companies can do in order to instill fate in those who might be on the fence about becoming early adopters. It all comes down to the games, in my view, but what does this entail in particular?

From what I have seen, the initial launches of the consoles have not exactly had new experiences across the board. Yes, there have been a few, whether you are talking about "Knack" for PS4, "Nintendo Land" for Wii U and what have you. That being said, there have been previous re-releases as well; many of the games released for these brand new systems could have easily been purchased on consoles from the previous general. While it goes without saying that developers need time to learn about the hardware, how can Long Island marketing experts prove helpful?

Long Island marketing can be utilized for this purpose and you can be certain that there are many examples to look to. What about the simpler approach that the Wii U has, for instance, and how easy it is for anyone to navigate it? If there's one thing that can turn gamers away, it's an interface that is either too busy or clunky to where virtually no one will want to utilize it. This is an important point to consider and it is one that will be brought to the surface by firms along the lines of fishbat, Inc.

I am someone who has been deeply involved in gaming, so it comes as no surprise that console launches will seize my attention. There's a sense of wonder that comes with these machines and I want to determine whether or not they will prove to be in my best interest. However, the ability to differentiate between them and see what they can offer in the long term is important for any consumer. Only with this process brought into effect will consumers determine whether a console is best for them.
